Walks and tours

Looking for the most unique space ever to host your next gathering or business meeting? The Museum of the Paranormal can be rented for evening events taking place after the Museum closes during the Rental Season only (see Rental Schedule below).

The Museum is located in the only original Blacksmith Shop left in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Nicknamed "The Smithy", William Gollop's shop would later be relocated directly behind his house at 118 Queen Street.

William, or Bill to his friends, was the village blacksmith for decades. He was a veteran of World War II and a great workman, well respected by all of the townspeople.

Gathering and mingling can take place in the Gift Shop space on the first floor. Food and drink can been served in this space.

The main meeting space is the Museum of the Paranormal. Your guests will be surrounded by our many unique and haunted artefacts and displays. You may even have an unexpected guest or two!

The Museum building is haunted. The 2 ghosts talked about by psychics visiting the building on different occasions include a young girl, and a large man dressed like a “blacksmith”. Doors have opened on their own, and more than one person has seen a face that appears and quickly vanishes.
